Clinical application：
Homocysteine: a sulfur-containing amino acid, is an intermediate product of methionine metabolism. It is regarded as the New “Cholesterol”, an independent risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. Hypertension with increased homocysteine (Hcy ≥ 10 μmol / L) (so called H-type hypertension) can greatly increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events.
